Placing your order When you order from us, we need the following details from you:
- Your HomeChoice account number, if you have one.
- The name and item code of the product you want to order.
- All your address details and contact numbers.
- Should you choose to buy on terms, we’ll also need information
on your monthly income and expenses. Delivery to you
- No need to worry about transport. We’ll deliver your goods to you.
We provide our door-to-door service in the majority of urban areas in South Africa.
- You’ll receive an SMS telling you when your order will be delivered.
- For your own protection, you’ll be asked for your ID book before your order is
handed over. If we don’t deliver to your area, your order will be sent to your nearest Post Office and you’ll receive a delivery notification form and SMS. Make sure that you have your ID with you when you collect it.
- A minimal delivery fee of just 7% of your order value is charged to cover delivery. Customers from Swaziland and Lesotho will be charged an extra R100 to cover international delivery costs.
You get 14 days free home approval If you aren’t satisfied with your order, our 14-day free home approval policy allows you to return your order provided that it is unused and in its original packaging. Please enclose the original invoice (keep a copy) and return the ENTIRE order, including any free gifts.
- Post your order, by insured post, to HomeChoice, Private Bag X28, CapeMail 8003. Call us and we’ll refund your postage.
- We’ll only accept used goods for return if there is a manufacturing defect.
- Our Delivery Service CANNOT accept any parcels for return.
Your payment options – cash or terms You can choose to pay CASH for your order and get FREE CCP protection for a month. Alternately, opt for easy monthly instalments over 6 or 16 months and enjoy the benefits of our Customer Care Plan for the duration of your instalment period!

Terms and conditions Our terms and conditions comply with the National Credit Act and our interest rate is currently 35.4%. The interest rate charged on accounts in arrears will be at the maximum rate permissible by the Act. Finance charges are calculated on a daily basis, from the date that your goods are despatched. - Customers in Botswana and Namibia are NOT required to pay any government tax before collecting their
HomeChoice parcels, we pay this amount upfront, on your behalf.
- Please note: in order to cover this amount, the instalments shown on your statement will differ slightly from the
catalogue. (This service will be shown as an International Delivery Fee on your invoice.)
- You can pay your account, in your local currency, using any of our convenient payment points.

The HomeChoice Customer Care Plan – there to protect YOU Delivery Protection: Your order is protected against theft, incorrect delivery and damage. You’ll never pay for goods that are damaged through delivery, or an order you didn’t receive! You get this benefit at no extra charge.
Product Replacement Protection: Your goods will be replaced in the event of home theft, fire damage or natural disaster. You enjoy this protection for the entire period over which you pay for your goods. That’s up to 16 months cover – at no extra charge!
Specialised Packaging: Extensive tests are conducted to ensure that our packaging conforms to the highest quality standards to protect your goods. Processing & Administration
- We’ll process your order as soon as we get it.
- As a responsible credit provider we check with all credit bureaux to establish what other credit commitments you have.
- We then use this information to run an affordability check on your behalf! It’s a lengthy process but we make it a priority so that we can rush your goods to you and so that you can rest assured – when HomeChoice grants you credit, you can afford it!
- You’ll also get a monthly statement detailing your account, helping you to manage your money.
- We’ll keep sending you our catalogue and special offers.

In terms of the provisions of the National Credit Act, a small charge equalling 15% of the first R1 000 worth of goods purchased (excl. VAT), and 10% of the remaining value of the goods (excl. VAT), will be raised when you place your order to cover processing and administration. |
