The HomeChoice Development Trust
The HomeChoice Development Trust was established in May 2005, after HomeChoice decided it wanted to play a part in, and make a difference to,
the lives of people in and around Cape Town, the base for our head office.
Currently, the goals of the Trust are:
• To support people in need in the Western Cape.
• To concentrate on education and economic empowerment, particularly
of women.
• To establish close relationships with those we support, lasting for two to three years.
• To cover our own costs – every Rand received would go to the beneficiaries.
• To engage in research and expect full reporting to ensure accountability. HomeChoice customers all share in a business that puts them first, and we
believe that this corporate conscience, combined with our commercial
